The crossing is always subject to heavy traffic. At 4 pm, when people walk back home, the crowd is overwhelmed and sometimes alive; especially around this corner, where on the stairs sits the flower seller man, with buckets around him. It’s been two years since I first met him there. I’ve bought some buckets myself too, every now and then! When I was drawing him, people, maybe unknowingly, where attracted to him twice, and he sold much more than normal. So somehow we are even! Plus: I asked his permission for this and he was okay with it, unless he was shy to sit there and let me draw a figure or portrait! So The figure is almost a pure imagination!
