The toy animatronics are really shoddily built. They went from concept to full animatronics in only a little over a month, so not all their kinks were worked out.
That’s why it was so easy for children to break Teex[Mangle/Toy Foxy] and why Teechi[Toy Chica] can easily remove her eyes and beak.
The reason Teechi will remove her eyes and beak is not to scare the guard[That is a side effect.] It’s so Teex feels less alone in being broken, Toy Bonnie[Ty] and Toy Freddy[Teddy] will occasionally pull off some of their own parts for the same reason, Ty normally goes for one of his ears and Teddy prefers to pull off his tail.
If most of the other animatronics had been put with the kids, they would not have been easily broken, since they were more sturdy and made to last. The reason Teex became mangled was just because they weren’t very well made in the first place.
Ty will also occasionally pop off his arm to lend to Withered Bonnie during the night, so he can practice guitar. He has to take it back before morning though, since he has to go on stage.
Out of the toys, Teddy is of course technically the leader, since he’s the Freddy of the group. But actually the real leaders are Ty and Teechi, who are the bosses of all the other animatronics during the night. Teddy isn’t so good at leading really, and is grateful he has such good friends to run the place.
