What happens after you die?

Dan never had high expectations. No heaven. No hell. No reincarnation.

Nothing.

So, when he finds himself in the afterlife, he’s faced with the answers to life’s greatest questions as well as one that’s more personal. He never believed in souls, but he always believed in soulmates and it turns out it wasn’t because he’s a hopeless romantic.

He hasn’t just lived this life with Phil. He’s lived a thousand lifetimes before this, all of them with Phil.

(aka an angel / soulmate AU with a dash of existential reflection and a whole lot of love)
