Sorry for the radio silence here - it's been a hectic week and I didn't have the mental energy to decide on an interesting post to share with you all. However one thing that did come up in my inbox over this last week were questions about the little video I made (have a look through my previous posts to find it if you don't know what I'm talking about 😁). So I thought I'd do a quick little #TechnologyThursday / #ToolThursday post. . First of - I'm really happy that you all enjoyed it so much! It was a lot of fun to make and I'm planning to make some more once my mental state has calmed down enough to allow creative thinking again. I have a few projects on my list so there is definitely content enough, just need to store up the energy a bit! . For those of you who asked how I filmed it - it was on my phone using this little setup. I have had this tripod for many years, because I used to film a lot with my video camera and this is a great one for both storage and stability. I do still use my video camera a lot but when it comes to close-up shots I find that the camera quality on my phone is still significantly better. If zoom is required, then the video camera wins, but for something like my sewing video I found it easier to use my phone. It's also significantly lighter, which means I can put it at a 90 degree angle and not worry about stability. . What do those of you who do regular filming or short little videos usually use? Do you have a fancy camera, or do you find that the phone does the job just as well? . #Thursday #filming #camera #phone #phonevideo #tools #contentcreation #theleveragedphd #tripod #tipsandtricks https://www.instagram.com/p/CHxYssBLILe/?igshid=9jtmu7e6kay5
