have you tried putting one of her fave things (like a toy or pillow or blanket or something) on your porch? i read a text post that the scent of their stuff calls them back home or something like that
yeah, we're gonna give that a try! it's hard because her favourite things to sleep on are freshly washed towels that don't really have her scent, but anything's worth a shot!

So, my stepsister recently decided that she needed to replace her copy of skylanders giants. Whilst, I'm not a huge fan of the game itself (nowhere near as hard as the original Spyro games), I do love the little figures for the portal. So we agreed that we would get one of each element and stop at that. Drobot is her absolute favourite (Camo is mine!). Aaaand then she asked me to draw him. So, have a bioshock inspired Drobot! Tl;dr - skylanders fan art. Drobot is awesome!

So, I thought I'd finally put up a post on just why it is that I choose to keep lizards (apart from the fact that our landlord won't let us keep any free roaming pets like cats). Anyone who follow...
For anyone interested in how I happened to fall into the hobby of reptile keeping, I've written a new blog post over at my Wordpress. Looking back after a couple of years, I realise just how much inaccurate information I was given about keeping those beardies. I mean, I didn't even know there was such a thing as a reptile forum, where I can get second opinions and extra advice, As a 12 year old, I didn't assume that the specialist reptile shop would ever give me inaccurate advice - vivarium size, temperature ranges and humidity levels, just something I took as gospel. It makes me sad to think that realistically, those animals weren't as well cared for as I would have liked, but I'm glad at least that I've learnt a heap more about rep care.
Don't get me wrong, I'm sure my gecko vivs aren't perfectly replicated habitats. But I keep researching and keep improving them when I can. They are healthy and seem happy (if only I could read their minds).
