Feedback on my Storyboard
February 5, 2015
A good first rough-cut but a general lack of consistency. This is, summed up in a few words, the feedback Laurent gave me on my storyboard. In short, I will have to make changes in brightness and places more realistic.
A more realistic nightfall. I will have to shoot some videos again so as to get the most appropriate level of brightness for each of them ; the most appropriate level can only be determined  once the videos have been arranged in the final, definitive order. I could have kicked myself for having chosen that time frame. However, it is the best way to get a spooky effect.
Doors and footsteps instead of pumpkinmen. I will have to leave the pumpkinmen out. My intention was to create a Halloween atmosphere with pumkinmen "popping up" on street corners. However, I did not achieve the wanted effect. Instead, on Laurent's advice, I will add some doors, as well as footsteps, so as to make the viewer understand that I'm moving from one place to another.
Better opening and closing shots. Those showing a church clock are not satisfactory. The viewer can't read the time.
