i had to spend two and a half hours of my life gaff taping a giant extension cable into a crack in the floor
it was unfortunately very twisted so it could not lie flat normally hence the two and a half hours of tape. but it was the only one that could reach because whoever designed electrical layout forever ago did not think about the people using the space in the future
tech crew problems:
there is a Humming but we do not know Where and exactly Why
when the old mic pack you find at the back of a cupboard that hasn't been used in ten years works great first try >>>>>
another adorable stuffed animal that joined us in the tech booth during show week! this guy is Albie the Aligator who belongs to our microphone operator :)

you know theatre is getting stressful when you start thinking about taking up boxing instead
there's a court/trial scene in our play... I can't decide between doing the Law and Order theme song or the Ace Attorney OST. I can also try to incorporate both if I use it as background music under the lines (but some of the actors might be too quiet)
I want to put so many more sound effects and things but I have a trainee this year and they will to run a few shows (with me on the sides helping) so I don't want so many cues that it's overwhelming.
don't even bother thanking tech if you won't do it properly
