What a shitty day! Nothing's working. The caf machine is broken, your favorite shirt got shrinked in the dryer, your lucky bracelet was missing and now it seems like you somehow broke your blaster.
But none of the above was the main reason for you to feel so shitty, it was just adding to that stupid low feeling you had. For at least two weeks now, Tech was barely looking at you, much less talking. And you had no idea why. When you asked Hunter he didn't wanna tell you. "You better ask him yourself"
The guys were off for another mission, as much as you knew. You stayed behind this time. You told Hunter you didn't feel well. It wasn't a lie nor was it the truth.
With a curse you kicked the metal table on which the caf machine stood and of course hurt your toe.
"What's the matter?"
You wheeled around, startled. Tech was standing in the dorway to the tiny kitchen, looking at you, concerned. Standing in the doorframe just udnerlined how tall he was.
"Since when do you talk to me again?", you rumbled, pouting.
His brows rose up as he said, "Why would you think I'm not talking with you?"
You sat down at the table and said, "Because you didn't. For at least two weeks you were avoiding me, not even looking at me, much less talking"
You can see him gulp and his eyes nervously search the room to avoid your gaze again. With a sigh you ask, "You really want to know what's the matter?"
Tech nodded, slowly came closer and sat down across from you on the chair at the table.
"My favorite shirt is ruined because some idiot changed the programm of the dryer. My lucky bracelet is gone somehow, the caf machine is broken and my blaster is somehow broken too"
Tech's gaze fell on the table on your blaster.
"You are aware that this isn't the ammunition magazin for your blaster?"
You looked at the blaster and the magazin right next to it.
"Well", you said quietly "That explains a few things. But where is mine?"
Tech shrugged and said, "I don't know but I can help you look for it, along with your bracelet. After I repaired the caf machine"
"Why did you stay behind?", you asked hestiantly.
Tech didn't look up as he dismantled the caf machine and answered, "Hunter mentioned you weren't feeling well. The mission is a non dangerous one and I'm not really needed. So I thought I stay behind. Someone should keep an eye on you"
You feel warmth spread in your chest but you are skeptical too.
"Why would you avoid me so long and now you want to keep an eye on me?"
Tech didn't answer right away, instead he said, "Try the caf machine again"
You did and it worked, right away. A smile tugged at the corners of your mouth.
"Thanks Tech"
"Any time"
"But you didn't answer me yet"
He froze for a moment.
"I'm the idiot who ruined your shirt!", he blurted out.
You looked at him, puzzled.
"What?"
Tech sighed and said, "I didn't know your shirt was among the things in the dryer when I put in my work clothes. I'm so sorry! I should have said something earlier"
You couldn't help but chuckle. Somehow this statement was a relieve.
"That's why you avoided me?"
Tech's cheeks flushed a little.
"It was one of the reasons, yes"
You frowned.
"What were the other reasons?"
"Promise me you won't get mad"
You blinked surprised, but finally nodded.
"Okay, I won't get mad"
Tech sighed and said, "It's really stupid. Especially considering that I am actually the most rational and intelligent one in this group. But, I have a crush on you. I wanted to have something of you with me. But I didn't dare to approach you about it or ask for a personal item."
Tech rubbed his face with both hands and sighed again.
"I'm so embarrassed. And I'm really incredibly sorry. I took your bracelet. I always had it with me, the las week. When you began to look for it everywhere I started to panic "
He reached into one of his pockets and pulled out the bracelet, placing it carefully on the table in front of you.
You looked at the bracelet and then up into his face. He looked at you like a beaten dog. He was really very uncomfortable.
"You got a crush on me?"
He nodded.
You didn't tell him right away that you had a crush on him too.
You couldn't help it. You had to laugh.
"I thought I did something wrong. I thought you didn't like me anymore and then all the other things didn't work out and I was so frustrated. And now you're telling me this"
Tech shifted uneasily in his chair.
"I know that was stupid. I'm sorry."
"Tech."
" Yes?"
"It's okay. I'm not angry. I'm very relieved"
Tech blinked.
"Really?"
You nodded and reached for his hand that was on the table. He gently returned the pressure of your fingers with his. A small smile appeared on his face.
"Let me make it up to you."
"You don't have to, Tech."
"Yes, I do, please. At least let me make you breakfast. I know a really good pancake recipe."
With a smile, you said, "Okay. Pancakes sound wonderful."
You got up and followed him to the kitchen counter where he began to prepare the food.
"Oh Tech?"
"Yes?"
"I have a crush on you too."
He froze in his movement, then very slowly turned around to face you.
"Are you really serious?"
You nodded with a small smile. And as you stood on your tiptoes he automatically leaned towards you until your lips gently touched.

I used my lunch time today to finally see an episode of Ride On Time. Of course, I watched where HSJ is in it lmao, episode 8. But from that episode, I’m actually excited to watch this in its entirety.
I love it that this documentary is finally acknowledging the hardworking technical staff and crew behind these Johnny’s concerts. We all know how magical these shows are and watching it feels like you’re transported into another world with your beloved idols. You get to enjoy a unique and special experience for 2-3 hours, and when you’re actually there it’s probably the best thing that you’ll experience ever. And all of these is possible because of the tech crew.
If you follow and read my posts, you know that I am also a big Broadway fan. The community also has a lot of documentaries on the technical side of making these musicals, so I am aware how hard their work is. And seeing the technical feat that Sense or Love achieved is just so amazing. From something as small as making sure that Yuto’s cord from the mic on his tap shoes won’t fall off, to taking care of the tilting stage in the arena, these people are truly the backbone of this production.
What’s even better for us JUMP fans, we get to see another side of their behind-the-scenes in their concerts. We’re all now used to their usual videos where they just either play, eat or sleep lmao. We finally get to see the real work during their concerts.
Just to end this, I’m even happier to know that JUMP appreciates the tech crew and they can give their total trust to them. They understand that without them, they wouldn’t be where they are today. They are propelled into being the idol that we all know and love because of these people. I especially love what Chinen said: that he realized how lucky he is that he is working in Johnny’s, or else he’d be just some random street performer.
Other than our beloved idols, it’s actually these professionals that make and maintain the world of Johnny’s a beautiful, magical and perfect place.
I know it’s a late post but I just want to give a shoutout to the conductor during the May 24, 2017 evening show of Book of Mormon in West End because it really feels like he’s part of the ensemble, giving out perfect reactions to every scene and dancing in his little spot in the orchestra in Every.Song WHILE he conducts and being just as scared as Elder Price when he’s in Spooky Mormon Hell Dream and his piano skills are perFECTION and I love that guy so much I wanna give him a hug
