Staying of social media ( this doesn’t count!) is so odd. It seems like I’m founding out random shit waay later than other people.

Tonight, I accidentally stumble across a video about ai. It was related to something else I was watching YouTube. I have shut down the algorithm so I truly only see video I actively search for or that are relevant/ related to what im already watching.

Anyways the video was about the Meta x Kyle collaboration and all I could thing was

1. Sure there’s a black mirror episode about this

2. Why does this feel like it was stolen from tobacco industry’s playbook ?

3. I guess tech companies are realizing how much people hate their products and treating to rebrand by using fashion and influencers

The fashion aspect I believe comes in because I found out Zuckerberg and Bezos poured shit ton of money into the met gala this year and not to mention Bezos ( and his new wife, can’t remember her name) and Zuckerbergs rebrands the last few years.

I have a cs degree and 3 formal professional YOE as a software engineer, plus I’ve been programming since i was 12 and i STILL don’t know how to use a debugger
