Sophie wasn't always open on Sundays but it truly varied week to week. Since spring was her busiest time of the year, she tried to make her shop available to those in need.
She was at the counter, fiddling with a bouquet when the bell chimed. An entryway is something she prided herself on - the immediate smell of freshly cut flowers, low symphonic music playing overhead, natural bright light coming in the front display windows. She looked up, a bright smile on her face at the customer. "If you need anything, don't hesitate to ask - I am full of suggestions.

"okay, we need to get out and do something." tessa said, coming out of her room. a glance at her phone had made her realize that her weekend off had turned into way too many hours holed up losing time. "like a museum-" though maybe that was too boring to really fit her goal of going out and doing a proper activity, "or knife throwing." and that was definitely too far in the other direction, but if she gave up now tessa was sure she'd wind up back in her room with another book or trying to research some magical nonsense up until she had no time left for herself at all.

"guess what i just found?" kady announced catching up to the other and showing the flyer for artists needed for a tattoo shop. "it's my fucking lucky day." they handed the flyer off to them. it might've been the only one in the window, but kady didn't need the competition. wasn't even sure if she'd have the skills for it. "wanna be my test subject?" they asked with a smirk playing across her lips.

julian had done well at adapting to dc. but it was difficult to not have his family here. he often found himself worrying about his family. he's sure they got along fine without them, but still, he hoped they were okay. since being in dc, he'd poured himself into his art. just like at home, he found himself drawing emma most of the time. not being able to see her for this long was horrible. he found himself thinking of her most of the time. he had found a bench in a park to draw. but again, emma wouldn't leave his mind. as he lifted his head up from grabbing his supplies, his eyes widen at who's close to him. "emma?"

“ huh ? ” mike questioned , head shaking in response to the other’s words. he blinked , confusion apparent on his features. “ i think you’ve got me confused with someone else , ” he told the stranger. he wouldn’t deem it that surprising , either. it wasn’t exactly the first time he’d experienced a bizarre encounter in dc. mike was wise enough to know it wouldn’t be the last , either. “ sorry i can’t really be of much help. hopefully you find … whoever it is you think i am. ”
