Tears in the Ocean 

We sink or we float 

Submerged in a sea of emotions

If we fall out the boat

I heard you went off with Nicki

Drunk off those pills and those potions

This ocean got you looking so sickly

Now you're feeling so hopeless

You sail for the chance to get close

You sell for the land you love most

The sale for hope predisposed by which way the wind blows 

But the salt of these tears are stripping the boat 

The salt of these tears are dissolving your hope

Pain stripping honesty: fitting the chronology 

Fear denies your sovereignty 

You stop your motion and begin to consider the ocean 

Abandon ship, lose your grip on what you had 

Tears become audible saying 

“Finally, peace at last. With us you’ll stop the mourning.

Although pain surrounds us it the tears that will be comforting. 

Maybe one day you remember to breathe: 

It will be uplifting to see you reach a new morning.
