They had gotten out of that one by the skin of their teeth. The Doctor was still sitting on the ground surrounded by UNIT soldiers cleaning up and collecting pieces of what was left of the alien ship. "Jo, will you stop fussing about me. I am perfectly fine. I just got a bit of a knock on the head." He was not exactly fine. He had been blown back by the explosion and landed very hard on his back and head. His back ached and he was possibly concussed.
