so as many of you know, this past weekend marked the second annual electric daisy carnival in las vegas. i have been attending and working insomniac events for the past couple of years and each year pasquale continues to outdo himself. with new stages such as q-dance and moving truck/dj booths, EDC participants were never without entertainment. friday i was with team tiesto as we did promotions for our boss who was slated to play the next day. after taking hundreds of pictures and handing out neon tank tops we were able to enjoy acts such as borgore, steve aoki, and afrojack. saturday, also dubbed the electric daisy catastrophe, was a let down when winds forced the festival to shut down. but aoki amused audience members by performing on a portable stage. and then there was sunday. where i was free to run around. enjoy rides. and party with team tiesto. holly madison and i partied at the marquee vip tables. i danced with paris hilton. and took amazing pictures as the sun came up. i even got to meet artists (above and beyond, armin van buren) who have been my inspirations for as long as i have been a dj.

this was truly a weekend for the books. i got to meet and work with the most amazing people. its crazy how music can bring together the most different of people. and for this i have to thank my team tiesto girls. complete control management. the camera crew. and insomniac. we did it. hoot hoot!
