Finally! Here’s the next chapter of Team Lilac for you!

As I said before, I had some trouble finding time to actually continue writing, but now I got it done, corrected and I’m finally able to show the next chapter to you!

As always, special thanks to everyone who keeps up reading this, also to @2lean4 for correcting my messed up grammar and all the shit I’m writing when I’m tired...

But enough talking, here’s the chapter for you:

Candy started giggling as they spawned together in orange ink.

"Oh, looks like someone already changed the team colors..."

She put her roller on her shoulder, smiling at Seahorse again.

"And don't worry, the other two are pretty cool, maybe a bit crazy sometimes, but I'm sure you'll get along with them"

Attempting to throw a burst bomb and jump down from the spawn platform, Candy giggled even more as an echolocator hit both of them.

"Oh, looks like they already noticed us!"

Seahorse looked down at her feet, confused as the echolocator activated.

"w-what's this?"

"It's called an 'echolocator'. It's a special attack like your kraken or my inkzooka. It shows your location to the other team for a few seconds"

"Ah okay...", Seahorse replied, still a bit confused, then jumping down from the spawn pad after Candy, following her to the center of the map.

A good amount of blue ink already covered the center as the two girls arrived. Candy was walking, not inking anything yet, Seahorse following a bit behind her, holding her Squiffer close.

As they arrived at the center, they saw an Inkling wearing a Squid Nordic, a Gray College Sweater and Banana Basics, randomly firing at some practice dummies with his L3-Nozzlenose.

Candy started waving at him.

"Hey, Laverne! We're here!"

He kept shooting at the dummy until it burst, then turned around.

"Candy, you're la-", he started, stopping mid-sentence and started staring at the Octoling right behind his team member.

Candy grinned as she noticed this.

"Laverne, I told you that I'm bringing a new possible team member, why are you so surprised?"

"I – ehm...", he replied, still staring at Seahorse.

The Octoling moved back a step, automatically aiming at the inkling, as she started feeling a bit uncomfortable about him. Was it because she was an Octoling? Was that whole team thing Candy had in mind not working?

"Come on", Candy said again, giggling a bit "don't drop your weapon on the ground. We actually wanted to do a bit of training today."

"B-but...", he mumbled, still staring at the Octoling that was now pointing her charger right at him. "T-that skirt… S-so short..."

Seahorse looked down herself, then back at the inkling, noticing that he really was staring at her skirt the whole time. Instantly she started blushing madly, firing a shot at him without thinking about it, immediately splatting him.

As she realized what she just did, she reflexively took a step back, wondering if she just killed him.

Candy started laughing.

"Oh, great zapfish, I didn't expect that to happen", she said, turning around again and looking at Seahorse, smiling.

"You should probably apologize when he respawns and gets back here. But good job."

"H-he respawns?", Seahorse asked slightly confused, making Candy give her an irritated look.

"Yeah? Like in the training sessions we did..."

"Oh...", she replied, lowering her weapon a bit.

"Don't worry, he'll be fine", another voice replied from the left, as Seahorse turned to the side. She saw another male Inkling standing there, leaning against the wall right below the sniper point, who had apparently been watching them the whole time. Wearing his usual turf war outfit: a Jet Cap, Shirt and Tie and Squink Wingtips, Robyn slowly started walking towards the two girls, smiling.

"Just keep splatting him, when he starts annoying you, he'll be fine with it."

He stopped a few steps in front of Seahorse, still smiling.

"So you're the sniper Can' was talking about. Nice to meet you. I'm Robyn."

He started holding a hand out for her, but Seahorse just moved back one more step, grabbing her weapon a bit tighter again.

Robyn turned towards Candy.

"But maybe you could tell us next time that's you're bringing a female Octoling, would probably make it less confusing"

Candy blushed a little.

“Everything was a bit complicated at first, so I probably just forgot to mention it… I didn’t really expect something like this to happen. But knowing Laverne, I probably should have expected it...”

"I see", Robyn replied, looking back at Seahorse.

"But looks like you got a pretty good aim at least, splatting my brother with just one shot"

Looking even more confused, Seahorse instinctively lifted her Squiffer again, just enough to notice Robyn moving slightly, preparing to dodge her attack.

He grinned.

"And don't worry, if you're going to shoot at me, I'm not an easy target like my brother."

He looked up as he notices a superjumping beacon at his location, grinning towards Candy.

"Looks like Laverne will be back any second, shall we start the training?"

"Oh sure, that's why we're here, right?"

Candy smiled at the now even more confused looking Seahorse, grabbing her roller a bit tighter to prepare to attack.

"Seahorse? You're on my team for now. Try to get them but don't get splatted, okay?"

Moving back a step, she looked back at Robyn, waiting for Laverne to land right next to him before flicking her roller to the ground, attempting to hit both of them at the same time.

FINALLY!!! After a few months, I managed to get the next chapter of Team Lilac ready and here it is for you to read <3 I’m really sorry you had to wait for so long, but a lot happened and my motivation for writing was really down. But I really want to tell this story and thanks to @2lean4 I was able to continue writing :) I hope next chapter don’t need as much time as this one >.< And hope you’re still interested in the story.  But enough talking, here’s the chapter

I’m slowly trying to get back to drawing. And this is one of the first pieces I’m actually happy with!

I’ll experiment with the new hairstyles from Splatoon 2 a bit and already figured out some of my characters who would probably wear them or already had something similar.

INKTOBER DAY 10

Matching with my current chapter of Team Lilac FF, todays inktober drawing is Robyn, smoking. And yes, he’s smoking. Currently my only character doing so, well Rose smoked for a few years, but stopped due to private reasons.

Today you’ll get another member of Team Lilac, Laverne. 

Robyn’s little brother is rarely seen without his Squid Nordic, but I had to draw him without it at some point. He looks so cute and innocent on this pic but he’s probably looking at a girl’s booty again

INKTOBER DAY 1

It’s October 1st and I’ll start my Inktober drawings with one of my main characters - Candy from Team Lilac. 

Some of you guys might have seen me playing Candy with this set, since I just love my roll on this cap and it’s just perfect for her.
