A gibbon raids from the bananas left on a platform for orangutans in Borneo. • This is a #Repost from Gypsy Tiger ・・・ #Teamgt was in Borneo, Indonesia to document the critically endangered Orangutans of Sumatra and Borneo. When we reached the forest there were more than 100 bananas left on an open platform by the forest dept for these fur balls to come and enjoy their meal but little did we know we would encounter a banana thief….A Gibbon! Like the Orangutans, #Gibbons are also part of the ape family & they live mainly on trees. Gibbons can jump a distance of 50 feet at 35 miles an hour after single swing. They are highly intelligent animals and can recognise themselves in the mirror…No wonder here you can see the Gibbon tiptoeing to steal the bananas in order to avoid being heard by the Orangutan…True mastery! • #Borneo #Gibbon #Gibbons #Ape #Orangutan #ShortFilm https://www.instagram.com/p/B71hrc1AIvs/?igshid=ivg2kfdzhdc5
