My boxing trainer and long time friend Henry Calles will be making his professional debut today at Chumash Indian Casino and Resort.  Henry owns Dukes Boxing in the College Town of Isla Vista (Santa Barbara), Ca.  http://dukesboxing.com

 Henry grew up boxing and has owned Duke's for close to 10 years now.  His boxing abilities are phenomenal, he can bounce around on the outside and box skillfully, and he loves to get in close and brawl.  He teaches this multi-dimensional style to his students, myself being one of them, and it is universally loved.

Inside the gym his energy is contagious, the speeds bags are bouncing, the heavy bags are taking hits, and people are smiling and grunting.  His gym matches the energy of the electric college town that surrounds it.  If you ask any of my close friends about how I get charged up talking about boxing, they will tell you they know it's something that truly revs my engines.  Henry's coaching style, his leadership, and his approach to the sport all have a big influence on my passion for the fight game. 

Tonight 100+ people from the greater Santa Barbara area will be there to support him.  I have been looking forward to this for some time now, and know he will make us all proud.
