01.07.2016... I remember the date coz it was last year, on a day like this... I posted the first #FoodWisdomAndGreatCompany... and I've been posting the first day of each month... I was gonna stop... I felt like one year was enough... but on Thursday, someone who had no idea I was gonna stop challenged me to get back to blogging... I can't promise anything... but I can assure you that the monthly posts won't stop... thanks, all MVP's who've been reading and talking to me about it.... gives me psych to continue... heeeeeh... and y'all need to get yourselves people in your life who will push you like this one did... Anyway, a few weeks ago I was on my way from work... I was drained, so I decided to go get some soda atleast to get some energy before I reach home... I run into a buddy we hadn't met in almost two years... We were headed the same direction, so we had time to catch up... I have never appreciated the jam in Nairobi like that day... coz heeeeeeeh, that conversation escalated... he told me how he hacked being with the same lady for 10years... "Slick, you gotta view the relationship like a love bank... all the good things you do to her are deposits... all the bad things you do to her are withdrawals... so you gotta do so much good... that the bank account is filled... so that the time you make a withdrawal... she will look at the bank statement and still continue banking with you coz the history of the deposits are much more than the witbdrawals... she will look past that one withdrawal... but if all you do is withdraw and you never make any deposits, best believe that bank account is gonna be closed"...
