Hahahaha yessss Rosamund is so O’Brien’s *that person* like all the Grantham’s and Crawleys and everyone including Rosamund go on a trip to visit some great aunt and on the first night when O'Brien’s gettin down with the head housemaid that happens and she’s like WTF WAS THAT? and even though she’ll never be with Cora she still feels guilty like she’s cheated on her and then she feels even more pathetic and gross. She feels mildly soiled all the next morning to the point that when she goes upstairs to answer a bell and sees Lady Grantham and Lady Rosamund together talking she jumps at the sight of Rosamund then does an about-face and marches right back downstairs without explanation.

YES rosa straight-balling also i just realized that most of the characters have mucho explicit sex in canon | should’ve asked about Downton Abbey sex habits oops

ok well it's no secret that my favorite characters on Downton are Team OB

as for Thomas and O'Brien's sex headcanons I think(despite what the show runners seem to want to imply) they are definitely having sex. Not with eachother! well except for that one time almost when they both had way too much of that stolen Christmas wine and decided to expirament but we never NEVER talk about that

With O'Brien sometimes I think maybe she's sort of non-sexual just because she's so stiff and guarded and has shown little interest. But then what I really think is that's just her show of professionalism when actually she gets laid every time the Grantham's travel anywhere. That network of maid friends she used to get dirt on Bates are actually all friends with benefits. Doesn't matter who she's with she always pictures Cora, even when she promises herself she won't anymore.
