#team assbutt

Can't get over this one. 

Look at you. You made it. And you look just as beautiful as when you walked into this mess. A little bit more tired looking, but still. 

This being my first year, I was incredibly impressed with my team. We completed about 120 items even with crammed schedules. 

I encountered an item (#111) that changed me. I met a man named Ron at the rest home. Ron is 66. Ron just found out his cancer came back. He has a PhD in social psychology and can take stunning photography. His pictures are placed delicately around his room. We gave out flowers and candy to the residents and Ron asked "do I have to pay for this?" And it broke my heart. We explained to him sort of what we were doing and while he talked I could feel my eyes starting to well up.

He was fascinating and yet he had been reduced to his illness and nothing more. I handed him the rose and he couldn't believe it was real. He brought the rose up to his nose and inhaled like his life depended on it, gasping as he confirmed it to himself that it was indeed real. Ron looked at me with shinning eyes and said quietly, "Perhaps there is some good left in this world after all." 

It took every little bit of myself to remain collected. 

I fully intend to stop by and bring Ron roses when I can. Ron deserves all the roses in the world. 

I hope all of you have had similar stories as the Hunt ends this year. I don't even care if we win anymore because of all of the lovely people I have met through this experience.

So Team AssButt is in need of 3 more lovely, sexy members for their team. It’d be pretty neato if you lived somewhere other than North America but if you don’t, that’s fine, we’re just limited because 9 of us belong to a rinky-dink town called Owensboro in Kentucky and the other three reside in Australia. This is our first year (besides the lovely Australians) but boy are we dedicated and motivated. We will do everything and anything (except meth (okay maybe meth) ) We promise to pull our weight. Going for the win, naturally.

Hello! My name is Salem and I reside in Owensboro, Kentucky. I have a group started for GISHWHES under the name Team AssButt. My friends and I are getting everything together, but we realize we need 15 people for a team and we will only be able to get about 8 of those people. We are looking for about 7 others to complete our team. Perhaps there is another team floating around out there that needs more. We would be happy to take you, meet and talk on skype, and be friends! There are a few things however that would make your addition to our team incredibly helpful: 

      - Access to an ocean or large body of water 

      - Willingness to do the tasks that we are not able to do 

      - Frequent communication with the group on skype, phone, whatever

      - If you live in another country

      - Able to get along with everyone in a happy manor... since I created the team I expect everyone to get along.

      - Have fun! 

IMPORTANT NOTE: If a task cannot be preformed by the Kentucky home base, but your team has the ability to do so, you MUST do it and then send the results and evidence via group message or whatever to home base. It's okay if we finish the same task and then combine the footage together to prove that the whole team did something. Message me if you feel like you could be a part of Team Assbutt. 

I'm really looking forward to GISHWHES week and meeting the lovely group.
