I bought this book ages ago. I had every intention of finishing this series, but then I didn't. And now so much time has passed, and I've found that I don't care enough to go back and read everything again, so…maybe Daughter will read it one day. I'll just keep telling myself that. 😉 • The day I bought it was actually kind of crazy. I'd gone to this small children's bookstore and found it. Just as I was reaching for it, a pipe in the ceiling burst (this was dead of winter) and a waterfall came cascading down on all the books! Right before my horrified eyes! 😧 • I kind of yelped and then just stated grabbing books off the shelves, shouting HELP! PLEASE, HELP! The woman working came running from the front of the store and together we saved most (not all 😩) of the books in the teen section. • In the end, I was meant to be there I think because otherwise she wouldn't have known about the store's new water feature soon enough and all those books would be lost! • Wow! Long story! But I feel better now that I've shared it. 😊 Anyone else ever been in exactly the right place at the right moment? • I feel like I've blown my word count on that, but if you're still reading along, then might I suggest you check out Tealtoes.org this month? By getting your friends to paint their toenails teal too, and then by talking with people when they ask about it, to make sure that they know the signs of this whispering killer. Any time of year is good for teal toes, but we especially recommend September, the ovarian cancer awareness month!
