"I don't have anything to wearrrrrr!"

Girls just say this a lot. Don't you think? I've heard it in many different versions from the boys. Like their girlfriend would complain how there is nothing she could wear when there goes her collection of dresses, printed pants, delicate tops and the basics.

But in every woman's defense, sometimes, it is true.  In that perfect moment, you just can't wear anything less good. 

And that's what I felt when Don reminded me of our photo shoot schedule. He gave me the summer-y pegs and I just didn't know the perfect outfit for it. Good thing I remembered my designer friend Alexene Cabantac, whose designs are worn by a lot of celebrities in some TV guestings. I immediately sent her a text to ask if I could do pull-outs, and she said yes. :) 

Her designs are loveeee. That was actually what I wore in the previous set of shots, which I blogged the other day. 

But aside from that, she introduced me to Vienn Resureccion, her designer friend, whose rack in Archelogy in Rockwell was just beside hers. And the moment I was looking for my chosen pieces, I knew that I was really blessed to be surrounded by these talented friends--friends with the finest collection of designs and friends with great passion and talent in photography.

I'm no fashion blogger. I think that one's pretty clear without any gray areas. I even have a friend who's been asking me to do a shoot with him for more than a year and a half and I found myself a million different ways to say no. 

"It's not my thing. And the only shoots I can do are the ones in groups. The funny/feeling shoots I do with Vgang."

But one day I woke up feeling spontaneous and free, I gave myself two words: WHY NOT. 

So in this first set of three, allow me to show you my first non-fashion blogger fashion-blogpost. This particular set was taken at about 1PM on a Saturday in Bonifacio Global City. And I dared not to check the MNL temperature so as to still fool myself it wasn't dead hot. 

I sipped a taste of summer in this particular shoot. Thinking of beach thoughts in my head as we were taking shots in a deserted lot in the city.
