Teague Martin. Brief Head Overseer, Loyalist, man of mystery.
Delilah does her homework. Or rather, she did. She’d kept such careful track of those surrounding dear Emily. Who she’d need to remember, who to trust, who to dispose of. And she had not trusted Teague Martin one bit. No, she doesn’t like Overseers on a good day, but an Overseer who doesn’t cling so blindly to his strictures, who manipulates the Abbey of the Everyman for his own gain... She dislikes those even more.
It is curious to see him here. If not for the obvious differences in this place, how clearly is isn’t anywhere in the Isles, she might think perhaps this means that she truly is home. No, given the curious train that she took to reach this warm, sunny boardwalk, she can’t say that she knows where they are.
Should she approach him? It isn’t as if he would know her. ...Well, perhaps she can squeeze some information out of him. It never hurts to have connections, too. He certainly doesn’t seem to be busy, so she makes the decision. She strides over.
“My, it is a surprise to see an Overseer so far from home.” She smiles, a wry twist of her lips. “Must I assume that there is heretical magic at work in this place, then?"
