Don't worry - just learn.
There are hard days in teaching, but never bad days. Everything I do well now, is because I learned from something I did poorly in the past.
It is unlikely that you will ruin a child's life with a 'bad' class - but I firmly believe you can positively impact a student's life with good teaching practices (and more importantly, good people practices).
Take risks, be accountable, learn from your mistakes and enjoy every little victory.
