What does Sun say about ruin exactly and does he get forgiven by the other at some point?(and does moon apologize for breaking their promise)
Moon definitely does apologize at some point, so does Sun.
I'm not going to give too many spoilers for that part of my au but just know that Ruin was still under the virus's control for most of Nexus's villain arc (as well as her recovery) and has done things that Nexus still has nightmares about. Most of it was Dark Sun's doing but it still happened. She and Ruin haven't actually addressed that part yet as they both have extreme trauma from it.
Sun brings up parts of it as a way to show how Ruin's actions can benefit them in this situation and Nexus heard it.
Besides Solar, Sun was the only other person Nexus confided in about those nightmares as Sun used the spells he learned from Atlas and Aries to try and give her some peace.
So you can imagine how betrayed Nexus felt as Sun basically told everyone what he swore to keep secret all for his pettiness.
He'll be forgiven eventually.
In my opinion,sun wasn’t out right defending ruin in the sun protects ruin episode.he was being logical and objective looking through neutral eyes.it was better for them to work together towards a common goal than fight and try to kill ruin since it has only proven to cause them more problems and suns tired of it.(not trying to be rude though)
