ok but i still really like the whole paragraph this is from because it's actually really unsettling and weird for Chuck to be checking the guy out in the first place and before you can recover from this nonsense the remainder of the chapter just slaps you in the face and i think that's beautiful
i added another paragraph to The Door to Tomorrow's description so that it actually makes more sense now!
not that this is ever going to happen but every now and then i think about how if i somehow got good at art one day and decided to do a webcomic version of my series there would be a huge problem, specifically with book 2 and the love interest
the story is set up in a way that can only work without visuals in order to mess with the reader and keep the mystery going
so
um
wtf would i do when i get to the love interest's face? would i just not focus on his face? but even if i did that it still might ruin the whole thing because you could probably see his hair or eyes something. not only that but i wouldn't be able to properly show his emotions without showing his face, which the mc focuses on a lot
would i have to just censor his stupid face? lol
the chances of this all happening someday are extremely low but never zero just keep that in mind
i was rereading book 2 and now i can't help but notice how many times one of the characters tells chuck to fuck off, gtfo, get out of my sight, i don't wanna see ur dumb ass and every time it surprises me for some reason and i feel like this
