Alright.
The fact I haven't said ANYTHING about The Cardinal Park Case on a blog that is partially dedicated to that underrated gem is a crime.
First of all, the main reason I'm making this post is to dump these doodles upon you all.
This is Oliver Cypress, the protagonist of The Cardinal Park Case.
(How Oliver looks in TCPC)
And he is my favorite video game character. He is one of the most well-written characters I've encountered thus far.
The way LiminAce wrote him... is so compelling. '
He's a detective investigating the death of one of his friends who was brutally and horrifically murdered.
This game is the embodiment of the writing advice, "show don't tell."
And... the game's writing... benefits so much from that.
The way Oliver is characterized is the embodiment of that.
He's basically a rational but somewhat neurotic detective. And while LiminAce does tell you that in the description... the game shows that he's neurotic. It shows that he's rational. It isn't just an informed character trait- You can see it on screen.
Like for example, there was a puzzle where you had to get a box for a cat. And if you interacted with the box you could see that Oliver... it made his heart melt.
There was another cat and his heart melted somewhat for that one too. At first I only saw him doing that in one scene... but then you realize he's been doing this for the entire game.
There's so much details hidden in the flavor text. This game gets better on repeat playthroughs. I swear, I discover new flavor text every time I play this game again. And his voice!!
The way he talks!! It's a lot of fun to read!!
...and yet... there's no fandom for this game. NONE.
NOTHING. EXCEPT FOR A BUNCH OF LET'S PLAYERS.
Dead Plate has a fandom. Saint Spells has a fandom. Hell, Married in Red has a fandom! And they're all semi-obscure indie games!! But this?!
(Dead Plate & Saint Spells absolutely deserve their fandom, don't get me wrong! Every game deserves a fandom! I'm just upset that TCPC doesn't have a fandom.)
This was... so good!! And yet there's not a single soul as far as the eye could see! No fanart! No video essays! No memes! NOTHING!!
And you know what TCPC got me to do?
...it actually got me to hate the villain in a way that no other game has been able to do. See when I hyperfixate on something I usually do so because there's an awesome story that could be told about it.
TCPC...
It pulled me in with its awesome writing. Its story.
And if you're reading this...
TCPC is an awesome game. Please, go play it. Go experience the awesome writing for yourself.
However... I must warn you of something:
TCPC is a murder mystery game and there's a graphic scene of a mutilated corpse, self harm, abuse, enmeshment, and it's a very dark game. The full content warnings can be seen in every chapter before you play the game, but please, be warned!
TCPC as awesome as it is is a very dark game.
So with that in mind... you can play TCPC for free here:
Mistakes, murder, and manipulation!
...oh, and here's his mom, I drew her too. I won't say anything more than that about his mom... because this is an experience you should play blind.
Gwen from The Cursed Princess Club by Lambcat (webtoon)
I feel like I haven't made an edit in forever and The Cursed Princess Club just finished its first season yesterday, hopefully I can space out making the other characters from the comic so I don't go in another editing hiatus. But if any of you have any requests I would gladly make an edit for you! (I'm making another Bethany edit anyways cuz, well, you know me :3

“So, how was the date?” Nayoung asked as the two of you stood side by side in the cramped bathroom; she was leaning against the sink, watching you remove your makeup intently.
“Can you not stare a hole into my temple, please?” you retorted. Your mascara was proving to be difficult to remove. “And it wasn’t a date. It was just me paying back on a favor.”
“Y/N, the moment you came back, your hair a mess, your clothes covered in grass, and that,” she jabbed at the bruise blooming on your collarbone, “it was confirmed a date.”
“Well, we did do some,” you paused, “date-like things, but it wasn’t a date.”
“Well, what are those date-like things, Miss Y/N?”

The logo for my soon-to-be-released Pretty Cure fanseries called TropiCruise. This is still sort of a work-in-progress, but I’m happy enough with it to use it for the time being. This is one of my projects I’m really excited about, so I hope to debut it soon!!
Unfestive funeral fit.
Adalia's one redeeming quality is her fashion lol
