the SECOND susannah turned 16 she moved to live with her dads family. (a lot of them kinda live together in the same house, he just moved rlly far away bc he was lowk the black sheep of his family.)
she calls finney and gwen like crazy though, to the point where when the phone rings at a certain time both of the kids will answer with "hey, susannah."
she genuinely feels so bad for leaving them there but she couldnt handle living with the husk of her dad, watching the man who used to call her his little princess suddenly turn into this man she doesnt know.
finney and gwen arent mad at her, they understood. they do miss her more than life itself, though. and maybe a bit of resentment that they just cant shake off.
