It's Halloween, and Wei Ying's birthday. He gets to spend it with all of his favorite people.

I've been more active on here in the past year or so, so I guess it's time to make a more in-depth bio.

I call myself Leaf. My pronouns are She/They. I was born in 1998. I'm from Florida. I am a genderqueer asexual somewhere on the aromantic spectrum. I have ADHD and Autism. I have an undergraduate degree in English with a focus in creative writing and just graduated with my Masters degree in Library and Information Science this May!

This blog has been predominantly for MDZS/MXTX and leftist posts. Lately, I've been considering adding more library science posts and book reviews. This might also include shows, movies, and even music. This content would be in addition to my usual posting patterns, with the goal to meet and make more friends who share the same passions I do that I am able to connect with despite my disabilities.

With this come some disclaimers.

As a librarian, it is my duty to read what readers are reading. This will occasionally include problematic or reprehensible authors like Sarah J. Maas, Rebecca Yarros and Neil Gaiman. If/When i review those titles, these authors will receive absolutely no money from my reading. I will not buy their books, I will add a disclaimer about why the author is not someone you should give their money too, and I will include a gif or meme of some pirates. IYKYK.

Any and all content of my reviews are my own opinion. You are allowed and even encouraged to disagree or absorb the media I discuss and form your own opinions. The only time I will choose not to review something is if I have nothing nice to say about it. I may give a negative review of something, but only if I can find something positive to say as well.

The golden rule of my blog is Be Respectful.

We can discuss and explore some very complex and heavy topics here, but I expect it to be done respectfully. If someone is being disrespectful (openly prejudiced, calling people stupid, etc), I will block them and go on about my day without giving a single solitary fuck.

I'm always open to any and all asks of any and all topics, and you're welcome to request reviews. If it's within my power, I will add it to my list.
