Happy 7th Birthday, Bambi & Cooper! These are two of the sweetest goats you will ever meet! They were bottle-fed by volunteers from just a few days old, and are both extremely social. Cooper has been through the wringer the last couple of years, but he’s still holding strong and doing well! Bambi has been the ever supportive sister, and still gets out about town here and there (like for Rojo the Llama’s retirement party last year). They both miss visitors very much right now!

It has been recommended that we keep Cooper's horn knobs on pretty much indefinitely, but he uses them so much they only last for a while. They came off by themselves yesterday, but luckily we got some pictures so we could do a before & after shot with his new ones! These are just plain cotton athletic tape, but it blunts the tips of his horns just enough that he can't dig too hard into his surgical scars from last year.

Dusty, Cooper, and Phil being extremely helpful and keeping the straw bales under constant supervision in preparation for the barn mucking this weekend!
