I loved the more obscure cosplays!!! Like madam web, manchester black, and the yugioh war of the roses video game Seto! Also awsome Angela! And just for refrence, im just at 6ft, and that galactus is not wearing stilts, hes that tall, and the top of his head is well past the top of my horns, even without his galactus helmet on. But guys!!! The Madam Web!!! I've never seen her cosplayed, and it was someone who was age appropriate to the character too!!!

My dash today was a beautiful thing. Those of us that follow Richard, we go such long stretches without getting anything, it's so fantastic when we do it. The fact it was my Con, in my home town, just makes it all the more wonderful. Seeing all the joy & happiness he brought to so many people has made a wonderful experience just that much better. When I look at the pictures, I still can't believe it was us. What I didn't share was this, the tickets for the first photo op were oversold, as were the Evan Peters ops that ran over the time limit as well. A group of probably about 50 of us, who stood in line for the whole morning session waiting, were left hanging. After the panel, Richard came back prior to signing autographs, just to take pictures with those of us that had been left out in the morning. He didn't have to do that but he did. I have no doubt whatsoever he subsequently signed every autograph after that, took every picture for those that bought them & left that Con later than he should have. As an added bonus of "well, this turned out awesome" those of us in that group that had purchased photo op tickets for Pedro were allowed to go directly from one to other without having to wait in line again for him. I literally went from hugging Richard Madden to hugging Pedro Pascal (who, even though we were told it wasn't a "meet & greet" was super nice & shook our hands). That was a solid TBCC. You have some grateful & thrilled fans out there that ended up having the best Con ever.

It's almost here...

On Friday, August 1st, the Tampa Bay Comic Con is going to have a Guinness World Record judge in attendance for an official Guinness World Record attempt for "the largest gathering of people dressed as comic book characters". IMPORTANT RULE: The characters must have only first appeared in comics and not in cartoons, film, video games or any other commercially available format. The current record involved 1,530 participants and was achieved at the opening ceremony of the International Animation CCJOY LAND in Changzhou City, Jiangsu Province, China, on April 29th, 2011.
