Regarding your Komaeda sexuality post: was it confirmed in a canon source that he's only attracted to men? As far as I'm aware Kodaka has stated himself that his bluesky posts are not canon confirmation of anything and that people can agree or disagree with what he says on there.
I get how the overreactions of people in the fandom getting upset over it are annoying and I'm aware that he's shown to be attracted to men in canon materials, but is it really "canonically" true that he doesn't like women? Is it really homophobic or stupid to headcanon him as bisexual or pansexual or otherwise? sorry i am simply trying to understand ^^'
There is so much canon material and even jokes that would imply he is gay. Not everything needs to be explicitly stated for a character to be gay.
Komaeda has only ever had romantic attraction to men and it has been a joke a lot of the time that he isn't attracted to women, chiaki makes a joke about it, saying how he wouldn't get distracted by her.
In udg, he is called "hard gay" in Japanese, but when translated, it is still a coming out of the closet joke.
In the Mangas during fanservice moments that has all of the men blushing and swooning it is always him there not reacting at all to it.
And honestly I don't really care what ppl hc but the big issue with me is a huge majority or the ppl that do that ARE being homophobic or transphobic on the occasions that I've seen it.
And I get for some people he is very important and you want to project but I do find it a bit stupid to try and project onto the guy who is more likely to be gay then the one who is bisexual (hinata) who is very similar in narrative and story.
Also komaeda in his 6th fte, just like all of that.
Here is some info on the love confession:
Regarding a certain line from Komaeda's fifth freetime event and whether or not it was a love confession, since I've seen a bit of doubt...
Regardless of if you ship komahina or not, you can not deny the fact that komaeda at least loves hinata one-sidedly.
