The Waterfall City in Southern Vidanya

I’ve mentioned Tazlo in a few asks now, so I thought I’d toss out a bit more about our starting location in The Stray Spirit:

It was no coincidence that people traveled from all over Thalis to experience Sada in Tazlo, nor was it mere whim that the most prominent members of the Auric Guild deigned to perform here every year. As night fell, the city doused its lanterns, blew out its candles, and let the flowers take over.

In daylight, it was difficult to tell the rhythm blooms apart from a simple white camellia. But in any kind of darkness, and with any kind of sound, they sparked. Emry watched as the pale garlands strung between buildings rippled with a gentle blue light, woken by the music tumbling out of every open window and door. Those dancing in the square absorbed the ethereal glow as they spun, both enchanted and enchanting. Laughter and off-key singing just below the garlands sent fireworks of turquoise up the strands. As the festival grew, the entire square glittered with the joy of a city seeking luck for the new year.
