Lady was complaining to me that our store opens later on Sunday (12PM) than others in the area (8AM), because that means she can't get croissants from the bakery for breakfast. I told her, jokingly, "Well I'm glad I don't have to work on Sunday morning" she got so mad and told me "well you don't have any heart for your job or your boss, good luck getting anywhere in life with that attitude" bitch I don't see your ass working on Sunday either so why should I get up at 4AM to bake you croissants

I sent in a story a while ago about my coworker who got all the praise for the work I did while he wasn’t doing shit. well he got fired now because he lied that his grandpa, who he was very close with, was on his deathbed. he missed like 4 shifts to mourn and to go to the funeral. but during the supposed funeral, his parents were in the store (they are regulars so we recognized them) so obviously we were all like wtf. when he showed up for work he got fired on the spot. serves him right

this new hire at my job been working here for a month now but he's absolutely awful. you'd think that after a month full time he'd have an idea of how things work around here but no. he just stands around all day doing nothing unless you tell him and even then he does it so slowly. and the most frustrating thing is our teamleader really likes him and thinks he has the most potential of anyone in the department and i'm like wow. i'm just picking up after him and he gets all the praise. it stings
