Inside Tatsumiya’s room, right on her desk- who had delivered it? Not the Orca, of course- Who knows, but it laid there- could have caused a weirded out sensation on the Oarfish, but that wasn’t all that important, as the letter itself was.

It seemed to not be put in the envelope all that well, as if it had been forced in rather than carefully put in it, so the letter was a little bit crumbled, but still legible, which was enough.

Tatsumiya- this is a letter from Idate- the Orca that keeps teasing you and enjoying your amusing  expressions, you probably didn’t really forget me, but hey, who understands some people, better be safe. In any case, it seems that I won’t be able to tease you or see your interesting reactions, which is a shame, really.

This will go to a rather… More serious side, I’ve gotten quite ill, I’m extremely weak which is— Of course— Quite bad for me, and I can’t really tolerate it too well, I’m using the energy I got left to write a couple things for people I know, and seems that you are one of them, of course, in any case, since I’m aware that you probably still can’t use your magic that well, I’m not telling you where I am- nor sending you this the same day I wrote it- so you don’t push yourself when trying to help me.

Which brings to the subject of your kindness- It’s… Really good, of course, I’m thankful that you’ve been so nice to me, even after all the times I’ve continued to tease you and make you fluster quite a lot. Or all the times I’ve threatened on eating whoever you might love, you either thought I was joking or shrugged it off after a while, and well- that”s good, of course.

In any case, I won’t be here for the next time you fight against one of those wife-beater guys you like hanging out so much with, which is pretty bad, I guess? Don’t know for sure, but in any case, just take care of yourself and don’t get in too many fights, don’t follow my terrible example.

Thank you, in any case, you were really nice with it- I just wish I didn’t think on thanking you when I’m dying, but hey, at least I did, so that’s good? 

Take care of yourself, anyways, and of those who you love, you’ll probably find lots of people that treat you better than I, after all.

"Ah . . .?" Idate blinked, trying to process everything she said- father? To Nagi? If anything, he was more like a caretaker but . . . Perhaps she did see him as a fatherly figure? he never asked.

How awkward- talking to her was always the same- however- he rarely focused on anything other than her face or surroundings- but the moment he glanced to take a look at her clothes- he caught a glimpse of her collarbone.

It was quite distracting, to be honest.

And yet again he was found by himself- Standing and just staring off as if he didn't care- truly, nothing had happened to him, he just needed time to think, as everyone did, no?  However- usually these times got interrupted to him, and this wasn't an exception.

Upon seeing the other- he quirked a brow, and soon he was questioned as to why he was so lonely lately- which got a simple reply from him. "I just have to be alone every now and then, you know?" He stated, shrugging a little and then sighing.

Her following words, 'You don't have to be alone'- Called his attention, making him stare at her for a little.
