i honestly cant remember why i had "tatters" as one of my choices

my other choices were: ocho, baffle, valent, ronan and blotch

i forgot the main reason but my other supporting reasons were:

i wanna subvert the kiki and bouba trope when naming

i needed other words to rhyme with it so i can name the other troupe members (natters, spatters, clatters)

I dunno how to explain it, my apologies if I broke someone's mind

Tay-ter or Tat-ter?

canonically everyone in the comic speaks tagalog with some english. tatters can also speak the language of the void which he shares with his other void "friends". tho its less of a language and more of sending feelings beams to each other. the closest to language they have is pronouncing their real names which is anatomically impossible to all lifeforms that doesnt originate from the void. if someone besides them is miraculously able to speak their names, it can give various effects. like the names themselves are unpredictable spells

while i did try to balance this, im mainly going for the fundamentals of him using a multi-purpose hammer

for the most part the world functions the same with some pockets of fantasy and scifi. like theres definitely magic but in limited amounts. the scifi part is that theres an SCP like branch of government. sometimes the fantasy looks like scifi bc what seems like futuristic tech is actually being powered by magic

if thats the case then i only rly have 5 filler chaps. the ones that i thought are fillers have some connection to the main plot/character development
