You needed to let him go but you wouldn’t so God ended it. You needed to let him go because he was comfortable with upsetting you. He was comfortable with seeing you cry. He was comfortable with you being disappointed in him. He was comfortable with you doing more than you should for what he knew was not a relationship. He was comfortable lying to you. He was comfortable with never ever claiming you and you still acting as a wife. He was comfortable because you relied on the history of your relationship rather than it’s today. He was comfortable because he knew that it didn’t take much for you to ‘get over it.’ He became comfortable but you now find him unacceptable and you are no longer vulnerable. You are free from all that was and accept all that God has for you that will be. It’s time to let it go.
