Forever, you're here forever, you know that. Stuck, damned and stuck. Violet growled at her thoughts, fingers snaking into her hair and gripping tightly. As she tugged, Violet felt a scream come out of her lips, in the form of words. "Stop it, get out of my head," the girl screamed, feeling her shoulders shudder in a silent sob. Feeling her back slam against the wall of the basement, Violet hardly cared - in fact, she could barely feel it, it barely hurt at all. Tears streamed over her cheeks as the voices continued. You're alone, no-one to blame but yourself. Exactly like when you were alive, except now you can't die, now you're stuck. "Shut up, shut up," Violet whimpered, her voice pathetic as she was sick of fighting the voices. Cheeks hot with violent tears, Violet opened her eyes slowly to find that the voices had stopped. Letting her fingers slowly drop from her hair, the girl realized she had ended up on the floor during her disagreement with her mind. Her eyes stung from tears as she pulled herself into a sitting position.
A noise outside caused Violet to turn, her hair flicking into her face as she did so. Blinking, she concentrated towards the upstairs and found herself looking down from one of the top story windows to the drive way below. Curious. A new family was moving in to the house - into her house. Many families tried to move into her house, but none were yet to succeed. Violet, unseen to the family below, leaned up against the window pane and studied them. The mother - a highly-strung looking woman with a Southern charm - was tugging on the arm of a gorgeous Down Syndrome child, whilst yelling something over her shoulder. Following the line of sight, Violet saw that it was a blonde boy that was being address. Curious, Violet straightened up and looked down to the boy. My, my, who do we have here? Fingertips brushed hair away from her eyes and she grinned slightly. A new toy for her to play with, it seemed.
