Are cattleya type orchids tougher than other genus? :o
Sure seems like it. I can ignore them for a while, and then the next time I look at them they’ll have new growths with new sets of roots. I haven’t really figured them out yet because new growths keep dying, but even more keep coming up.
At my local Orchid Society, many times when I go to a meeting someone will bring in at least one FREAKING GIGANTIC Cattleya that’s literally creeping out of the pot, for the raffle.
