Instantly, overwhelming pain shot through Whumpee; their muscles tensed and completely locked up, rendering them unable to control his movements.

They didn't scream. They wanted to scream, from the unbearable pain, but couldn't.

Even as the pain almost immediately subsided, they couldn't stop shaking, as they fell limp onto the ground below. they saw Whumper walking towards Whumpee's friend, who for some reason hadn't fled the scene, before grabbing onto them and pulling them away.

Whumpee faintly whimpered, suddenly getting up. Merely standing took all their body strength.
