These Chocolate Raspberry Turnovers are a delightful dessert or snack option. The combination of flaky puff pastry, rich chocolate, and tart raspberries is simply irresistible.
Ingredients: 1 sheet of puff pastry. 1/2 cup chocolate chips. 1/2 cup fresh raspberries. 1 tablespoon sugar. 1 egg for egg wash.
Instructions: Preheat your oven to 375F 190C. Thaw the puff pastry according to package instructions. Once thawed, roll out the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface and cut it into four squares. In the center of each square, place a handful of chocolate chips and a few fresh raspberries. Sprinkle a pinch of sugar over the raspberries. Fold the pastry squares diagonally to create triangles. Seal the edges by pressing with a fork. Whisk the egg and brush it over the tops of the turnovers for a golden finish. Place the turnovers on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until they are puffed up and golden brown. Remove from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving. Enjoy your delicious Chocolate Raspberry Turnovers!
