With a hop and a leap, you’re off. Navigating the streetsides around here is much easier with the agility your cat form allows you. Plus, it lets you get up to plenty of alternate routes that you likely would not be able to traverse otherwise. Being feline has its disadvantages... but it beats walking. Well, the other kind of walking.

You slip down a couple of narrow alleyways before finding your destination. Without much care for drawing attention (surely the people of Spirale have seen weirder), you activate your Cat Sphere near the entrance, and with a twinkling noise and a dramatic pose, you are human once more. After checking yourself briefly in the reflection of the door, you head on inside to the counter with grand ambition, and state your mission:

“Hello there! I would like a mille-feuille, two eclairs, some petit fours... and a chocolate croissant!”

Ammutseba rarely did anything in half measures, emotions included. The past week or so had certainly been... Interesting. She wasn’t necessarily for or against mood altering substances that weren’t alcohol, she was just rarely interested in them personally. Or rather, she believed she didn’t need them. Current events were less a matter of choice though. 

Currently she had another arm full of... Well, gaudy Heart’s Wake merchandise really as she stepped backwards out of a large pane of glass right onto the middle of a street. 

“Guess who darl-”

But she was cut off by the surprise of backing right into someone. Then the surprise of being entirely where she hadn’t intended to be.

“What the-”

Being carried by Aly was both something she was used to and enjoyed immensely. Varisella was never not pleased with how ripped Alydia was, least of all when she was being carried around. She spent a lot of her time here, honestly.

What a fun couple of days it had been,and once again they were back at the beach to enjoy more of the festivities. But unlike when they had arrived, this seemed to have more significance. There was still plenty of drinks, food and people, but reparations and thoughts of those no longer here.

Vari would have been content to eat and drink yet another night away, that was until she heard screams. Never having a great time seeing through crowds she could only catch sight of people running away from the direction of the water, and figures emerging from it...

the sun hovers just slightly over the sea, and of course, given it's name- people move over -covered up to their ankles in salt water and still in the high of having danced so much- to watch the sun go down, and the fireworks go up with it.

as snake moves closer to find a spot, he finds himself next to a newcomer- usually this conversation would go much different- but this is a celebration.
