fun fact!: tarantula's don't make webs like your average house spider (in fact they aren't even true arachnids) their heavy bodies would not be supported by a web although they do make silk, they use this as a comfortable bedding in their den's since most are ground dwellers (if they where to fall off a great height they would probably burst and die)

although there are tree tarantula's whom make their den's in tree cavities (they usually have a more slender body and longer legs)
