welp it finally happened.. my caribena versicolor tarantula jumped out of her enclosure when i opened it to feed her 🥴
i knew they could jump but she's never done it in the 5 years i've had her
anyway i think i managed to stay pretty calm despite a 6" tarantula jumping almost directly at me.. she ran under an ottoman and i immediately grabbed my catch cup and got her back in the enclosure within a minute of it happening 🫡
