So this week, we see the end of The Amazing Race Season 23. The winners were Jason and Amy.

Regarding them, I honestly have no complaints. They are undoubtedly deserving of the grand prize running a rather good race. I feel that Amy deserves an additional award or something for being the most polite and nicest person on the race, helping Nicole out on many occasions when she struggled even if it meant risking her position in the game. Jason... well at times he may seem frustrated with Amy but he never once raised his voice and scolded Amy harshly. Yes he did tell her off but never abusive. He always stopped when Amy told him to. So great pairing. Really deserving people.

The second place finish was Tim and Marie. To be honest, I never expected them to be in the final 3. I never really liked them in the beginning. But I got to admit, they were a strong couple and they deserved to be in the final 3. A bit mean at times but well it is the game.

The third place we have Nicole and Travis. To be honest, I was rooting for them at the beginning. They started out strong but faltered badly at the end. At the beginning I thoght they were a rather supportive couple. But at the end, it kind of resembled abuse by Travis towards Nicole the way he keeps scolding her and give her disapproving looks. And instead of standing up to him, Nicole seemed to just retreat into herself and accept the verbal abuse. At that point I kind of wished they would fail. Also the whole running to try and copy the music challenge was just downright wrong. Especially from your enemy. So I guess you can say I was glad they didn't win.

The next most controversial group were Leo and Jamal or the Afghananimals as people dubbed them. I know they are a strong team but something just rubbed me the wrong way. When I see them, they just piss me off. They act like they are better than others which just doesn't sit well with me. I am glad they didn't win.

The other guys are rather unforgettable so I shall not mention them much.
