Raleigh Brewing Company - Tap the Capital!
Friday afternoon brought the interns to Raleigh Brewing Company, a brewery located just off Hillsborough Street across from Meredith College.Â
The initial vibe you get after walking into Raleigh Brewing Company is a very relaxed atmosphere. The first thing you'll want to check out as you step into this brewery is the massive billboard displaying the days local beers on tap as well as list of upcoming events. Â
As we sat down and racked our brains over what to order, we couldn't help but notice how spacious and homey the bar felt. Unlike most bars you may have visited, the staff was super friendly and never felt rushed to make a decision on what to order. With all the choices they had, we need as much time as we could get!
Over 8 beers are on tap daily at the Raleigh Brewing Company and if beer isn't your thing, no worries! Their drink menu also includes wines, root beer, kombucha and other non-alcoholic drinks for the whole family to enjoy!
Since we had such a hard time deciding which beers to taste test, we opted for a flight which came with a choice of four beers. Â After spending even more time trying to choose which beers we wanted to try, we asked our bartender what she would recommend and she was more than happy to help tailor our flight towards what we might like. We were pleasantly surprised to see our beers served on a North Carolina shaped platter.
Our experience at the Raleigh Brewing Company was very enjoyable. The atmosphere was charming, the staff were extremely friendly, and the beers were great.  Even better were the prices!  Since the brewing company makes all of their own beers in the back of the facility, customers are offered local brews at phenomenal prices. Raleigh Brewing Company opens at noon everyday and brewery tours are offered every 1st and 3rd Saturday.  Be sure to check out Raleigh Brewing Company and tap the capital!
