We had a tour of the one-north Festival by A*STAR and the exhibits are literally mind blowing! Totally love the exhibits that are able to recognise the stress patterns which one faces … Forget about motion sensor video games, as the next level of games are brain-wave activated … where one wears a device and game play is determined by brain power! Check out the mock-up in my first video. They have even modified games, so as to help patients with Parkinsons and Alzheimers in the area of focus and memory. Another technology exhibit that caught my eye is this flexible light panel which is only 1mm thick. Being flexible, it means that our next generation of lights can come in all shapes and sizes, as depicted by the sphere. We also love how A*STAR products have made it into our homes via Laneige products which are age-defying and also via the latest 3D viewer screen protector. And upping the fun element is this motion sensor fan exhibit room. Looking like a nuclear bunker, this room will get the kids running around in excitement! There is so much more at the festival as early registrants will also get to tour the Disney Studios and the Mediacorp studios. So proud of @lovelilpumpkin when she free-fell 7m {the highest height - about 2-stories tall} @ the Giant J on her FIRST attempt with her eyes wide open and nary a scream! The kids had a blast at the #MaketheFuture exhibition with Shell! Besides building and racing Saltwater cars, the kids were able to learn how to harness the power of energy through many fun and interactive exhibits. I felt the kids also learned so much more when the young teens demonstrated to them the value of knowledge and how science can be put to good work. My boy was intrigued with the cars from Shell's Eco-Marathon Asia. Bringing together youths from 18 countries, these national teams came together to produce energy efficient cars that will help save energy and benefit the whole environment.
