ORGANIC TAPE MAPPING by TAPE OVER
DEEP SEAS is the result of a special collaboration - a fusion of two urban art styles...combining tape art (analogue) and video-mapping (digital). It´s called TAPE MAPPING.
TAPE OVER from Berlin did a collaborative project with ONDÉ - a visual artist duo from France.
Firstly, they used small rolls of white tape on a black canvas to create an artwork composed of three jellyfishes and some corals. Secondly, ONDÉ started mapping all tape-lines in order to animate our tape art piece.
They were using visual sequences of different kind of lights to bring it to life. They play with organic forms, coming from the oceans, emitting light organisms, like the ones you can find in the abyss. A beautiful composition!
