Two dragons walked the bustling streets of the Outset Island marketplace, each carrying satchels that were brimming with fresh fish, herbs, and fruit. A gentle breeze filled the air, bringing with it the scent of spices and produce.
The two dragons looked close in age, though one carried herself with a maturity beyond her years. She was focused on the stalls around them, stopping to inspect the products thoroughly before exchanging a few pieces of treasure for the food, and securing it in her bag. The younger of the two, a coatl who only came to a fraction of the imperial's height, was chattering away. The imperial only seemed to be half-listening.

The climb up the pagoda tower was treacherous. Much of the wood had rotted away, leaving large, gaping holes for many floors down. Arataki took the lead, being the smallest and lightest of the party, to figure out the safest route. The building was very clearly abandoned, it did not look as though any dragon had been here in quite some time. They could not imagine two minor deities hanging out here, though they would not be surprised if it was haunted. Sometimes, out of the corner of her eyes, Arataki swore she saw movement. Whenever she turned to try to get a better look, she saw nothing, though they swore the scent of rot permeated the air even stronger.

The sun sank low over the horizon, painting the skies and fields in vibrant shades of orange. Small, puffy clouds drifted overhead at a steady pace, and the winds were in their favour. Even walking, the breeze seemed to be pushing the travelling party ever onward towards their destination.
The journey to Windkeep Tower was only supposed to take two days, but with the addition of four energetic hatchlings, the party was at the end of their third day with no signs of reaching the ruins anytime soon. There had been little time to consult the map, with the hatchlings outnumbering the grown dragons, looking after them had been a full time job.

Arataki had been so worried about sleeping too late that she barely slept at all. By the time the sun had risen over the floating island, the coatl had already repacked her bag seven times and made everyone breakfast. Today was the day of their first adventure, and she had to be sure it was perfect.
The party had decided to take the night to make what preparations and goodbyes they needed before leaving on their quest. They were supposed to meet in the town square at 10am sharp, and Arataki had been running scenarios in their head all morning.

It was a small establishment, tucked in the many winding streets of the city. The exterior was freshly painted in a number of vibrant greens, blues and oranges, and a simple sign swung above the door reading 'Outset Island Adventuring Guild.' Biggvyr stepped back, admiring the building. Just above, Malachite was adding the finishing touches to the paint job.
I've just started a brand new Pinkerlocke. I haven't done this for any of my other Pinkerlockes before, but now that I have started some ClanGen story/comic blogs, it made me wonder if I should crosspost my Pinkerlocke to tumblr. It's already in the forums and I plan on posting it to AO3 as well as a more mature content version (no explicit sex, but more violence and things that are against the Flight Rising content rules. The AO3 version is not advertised on Flight Rising just so I don't risk breaking those rules). The version posted here would be the same as on the forums, but would likely have links to AO3 if people would prefer that version.
Would you be interested in seeing my Pinkerlocke on Tumblr?
Yes, on this blog
Yes, on its own dedicated blog
No, keep it on forums/AO3 only

If posted to tumblr it would have 1-3 paragraphs visible as a hook, and the rest would be under a read-more. It would also have "start | previous | next" links for easy navigation, as well as links to the chapter on the forums and on AO3 in case that is your preferred reading experience. I would do what I do on the forums too and incorporate images of the characters in the text for easy visualization.
