A Cocoa Brown Review

I have a really important event to go to tomorrow night. So I decided I’d really push the boat out and apply some fake tan. Normally I am a pale and proud type of gal but seeing as this event has drag queens I can’t allow them wear more makeup than me. During my teens I did wear a lot of tan and tried a lot of different tanning products and different brands but I never really found a product that ‘sat’ well on my skin. It always either left it too dry with brown patches, or was too greasy and left my skin feeling sticky and sweaty. I would highly recommend Cocoa Brown if you’re thinking about trying it. I can honestly say that I have not got one complaint about this product. Unlike most other tans it doesn’t leave a horrible smell that reminds me of cigarette smoke. Instead this product has a really fresh fragrance and when you walk in a room it wont be evident (due to your fragrance) that you’re wearing fake tan. The product itself comes out of the can like a light chocolate mousse and spreads very evenly on the skin. Although it is absorbed by the skin rather quicly, don’t be put off by this. It wont streak once product has been applied evenly over the skin.ocoa Brown contains an amazing ‘streak free’ formula that appears immediately on the skin like an instant tan would,(so patches appear instantly allowing you to fix them) but then develops and gets darker the longer you leave it on. Another great thing about this product that I think most girls and guys will really love is how quickly it dries. Yes I would still recommend wearing very loose clothing if you need to wear something directly after applying, however it dries so quickly and with no sticky residue left on the skin that if you needed to put clothes on an hour after application should be fine. I’m basing this tip on my drying time when I applied Cocoa brown, and the instructions on the back of the can stating that you can wash off the tan an hour after it has dried if necessary.I would also recommend that you moisturise well at least 3 days before you’re thinking about applying particularly if you have dry skin. This will help avoid patchiness and product build up in places such as your elbows and knees. It’s evident that the creator of Cocoa Brown is a lady who wears tan herself. This product is a credit to you Marissa Carter. The formula is just amazing and this product is flawless. For years I have been put off using tan because of the poor results it would give me, but after using Cocoa Brown 1 hour Tan Mousse (in the shade medium in case you guys are curious) I am so much more confident to wear tan on a more regular basis. This product works well with the Cocoa Brown tanning mit and I would advise everyone to exfoliate for at least 3 days before application. The Cocoa Brown range also includes exfoliating gloves.
