MEREDITH- “I will be there tonight, 7:00 right?”

TED- “Yeah, and you can bring your friends too if you like.  I would prefer it just be you, but...

MEREDITH- “They will be with me. It’s nice to meet you Ted, and thanks for the information.”

TED- “Sure thing. Meredith, I am beginning to like that name, it is actually pretty and suits you. So what’s your last name?”

MEREDITH- “Landgraab.”

TED- “Like Landgraab Industries??!”

MEREDITH- “Yes, it’s my dad’s company.”

TED- “Well ain’t that something...”

MEREDITH_ “What?”

TED- “My dad is in a partnership with your dad. Landgraab Industries are the ones that are cultivating this thing. You definitely need to come to this meeting tonight.”

Meredith is somewhat shocked at what Ted said about Landgraab Industries being a part of this strange scheme he was talking about.  If this was true, she doubted her Dad knew anything about it. She watched Ted Roswell walk away... there was something about this guy...

ELLIOT- “So what did he tell you?  Anything good?”

MEREDITH- “Maybe... or maybe not, but we have a meeting to go to tonight over there in that building.”

ELLIOT- “I don’t like the looks of that guy, are you serious about meeting him tonight?”

TANNER- “Meeting for what?”

MEREDITH- “I will tell you on the way back, but I got a feeling it is going to be very eye opening.  Hey... look at that guy over there by Ted...something is wrong with him!”

ELLIOT- “He just looks drunk to me.”

Meredith has been in Strangerville now for two days, and she is beginning to become frustrated, as their team hasn’t done anything in regards to working on whatever it is that is going on in the town.  All they have been doing is cleaning the old military base where they have them located. So she and couple of the other students decided to do their own investigation...

ELLIOT- “I don’t know why we are at the library, Meredith. It’s not like whatever this is that is going on is going to be in a book!”

MEREDITH- “We are not here to read books Elliot, we are here to talk to people, some of the locals. One of the Landgraab scientist told me that quite a few of the locals, and some military people meet here.

TANNER- “Well what are we waiting on, let’s go socialize, and see what we can find out!”

MEREDITH- “So, Elliot, when we get inthere, you focus on any military people you can find.  Get them to talk to you.  Surely someone can give us some insight.”

ELLIOT- “Why would they talk to a kid? They are not going to tell me anything.”

MEREDITH- “You would be surprised. They have no idea who you are, and if they think you are just some curious kid, they may tell you something useful.”

TANNER- “I think I will see if maybe the librarian knows anything.  Sometimes the quietest people know more than anyone. They listen instead of talk, you know?”
